What is The End of Time?
The End of Time is basically this web page. The group of pages; compiled by every graphic, sound, javascript applet, and bit of HTML code that makes it do what it does. So I named my web page. So what? Major parts of this page are themed on Squaresoft games. Others were made to supply YOU with the lyrics to songs; as you've seen, right now it's only Tool and Prodigy lyrics. They're there because all of my other fav. bands list their lyrics in the album cover... There are also some every day life things, and some non-everyday life things... Look around; there may be happy little surprises I don't tell you about...
About the Creator
Who am I? I was born August 4th, 1984. (8/4/84... pretty kewl; I've always loved it.) I have a dog named Propane (known to the general public as "Kelsey"... ahem. I'll have a picture up here sometime or another... eventually...) I've grown up on my computer. I type at about 60 words per minute. I like computer games; a wide variety. Duke Nukem 3D especially, and next to that Microprose's X-COM series. And let us never forget You Don't Know Jack... If there's one thing I love, it's 100% useless everyday trivia... Give me YDKJ and Jeapordy or give me death! I started HTML programming in mid 1997; it's funny, it's the simplest language on the face of the planet (perhaps second only to BASIC...) yet still people think its a big deal that I have a web page sometimes... If there's one thing I've learned its that the general public is ignorant. My favorite books are: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams, 1984, by Eric Blair, AKA George Orwell, and Neuromancer, Burning Chrome, and Virtual Light, by William Gibson. Of course, I also love countless short (and full length) stories by Asimov, Rod Serling, and Ellison (esp. I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream). My favorite movie is 100% undecided, although I do love the Monty Python movies, Scream (the first one; the second wasn't that great), Escape From New York (and Escape From LA), and Hackers (for the plot, but not as a learning experience). My favorite TV series (living or dead): Either The Twilight Zone, second only to The Outer Limits. Music... Don't even ask... just_don't_ask. Favorite magazine: 2600.
The Story of The End of Time
It all started back in May of 1996. AOL (as was my ISP at the time) started offering Personal Publisher: A web page creator. Being a 12 year old computer geek, i figured: Hey, why not try it. It started out right there, as X of Shadows's Home Page. All it was: a few internet links, and my AOL Profile (i.e. my dot.plan fer AOL). Then, early 1997 some of my... friends... from my home town started using AOL. SO. I talked to them. And they found out I had a web page. (oooh... ahhh...) And they made web pages, and the battle began. As AOL's Personal Publisher 2 was released, we started to do our best to out do each other. My one little page became about 20 larger pages; not very impressive pages, though. They looked fine, but there was little on it and it was still just immature, preteen ramblings. But it made it bigger and bigger and bigger... Eventually, I got sick of AOL's Beta Personal Publisher 2 fuqing up, so I taught myself the language of HTML. And, hurrah, my pages became more interesting, more complex, and much, much more intense then my friends, as I used tables and image alignment and in-document hyperlinks. (as on this page.) And my friends became envious. They learned, too. And the wars continued. Around April vacation, we named our pages. Mine was en's \/\/o (Sean's World, to those computer users whose monitors can't display special ASCII codes; as was my infatuation at the time of the christening of the pages). There was also PJTENN1S's Home Page, Virtual Hannibal, and Patdisney's Everything Page.. Eventually, I needed to do something new. I moved my web page to the thriving GeoCities. My boring members.aol.com address became something new, something exciting, something different... Silicon Valley's Peaks. As the summer began, we began to speak less to each other, and the fueding ended... As the new school year began, it continued to go down hill. In November, 1997, I officially gave up on my GeoCities web page. I created three new pages on AOL's server; Prodigy Lyrics, the Secret of Mana, and Funny Text Files. In December, I moved them here to FortuneCity, where they rest to this day, and has here been renamed "The End of Time".

Who should I thank?
My friends, who pushed me to make this page what it is:
Mike (AKA Satan, Turbeaux Man), who brought me into the magical world of T O O L, and helped me decide the color scheme for their lyrics page.
Brandon (AKA The X of Kaos), who kept me in a world of fantasy that I was too surely drifting out of.
Patrick, PJ, and Russell, who gave me a little competition, and inspired me to do what I have done.
The people who will never know how much they have meant to me:
Rod Serling, for creating a world of science and substance, of things and ideas. His wondrous land with the boundries only created by one's imagination.
William Gibson, for his inspirational Neo Tokyo world of technology.
George Orwell, for letting the public understand what was wrong with society, and at least helping to postpone the Big Brother centralized government... Postpone being keyword...
Douglas Adams, for the humor he writes with, while maintaining an interesting, suspenseful storyline.
And the people who are worshipped by billions already:
The Beatles, for helping to shape music as it is today.
Tool and The Prodigy, for giving the music world a new and upbeat style, each in their own way.
Squaresoft, for the worlds they create, the reality of their characters, and the beauty of their music.
Steve Wosniak, for proving that a teenage computer geek can go somewhere in life by learning things on his own.
This web site has been brought to you by:
Frutopia, the icead tea brewed by Hippies and distributed by a heartless megacorporation.
and
Mountain Dew. "MMM,mmmm. Sterilitious!"
Why "The End of Time"?
Good Question. (I mean, I made it up...) Why call it The End of Time?
In the game Chrono Trigger, The End of Time is a central spot for all of the different times and worlds your party travels too. This web page is a central spot for everything I put up on the internet; my worlds, my times, my thoughts and ideals...
The End of Time is just that. The End of Time. Of all time that will ever happen; the spontaneous END to the Universe itself. The ScienceFiction like theme of it all fits directly into myself and my personality.
The End; I hope that in the end, this is the last time I ever give my web page a complete "makeover" so to speak. Its so hard, yet I have so many memories. I cannot bear to destroy them all.
